dedicated to the children
Welcome to Pediatric Society of Queens.
I am honored to become the President of the Pediatric Society of Queens. This Society, which is part of New York Chapter 2 of the American Academy of Pediatrics, has a history of over 70 years of existence. Formerly known as the Queens Pediatric Society, it has always provided its members with professional and educational growth and has advocated for the health and well-being of children and their families in the great borough of Queens.
I attended my first meeting 18 years ago, shortly after completing my neonatal fellowship. I am currently a practicing neonatologist in Queens and look forward to working with all the members and executives of the Pediatric Society of Queens. I would like to thank my immediate predecessor, Dr. Pinchi Srinivasan, whose success in leading the organization I hope to follow. I would also to thank all the other members for helping me along the way.
I look forward to helping to advance the goals and mission of the Society. With the help of all of our members and leaders, we can continue our advocacy for children, and we will continue to support charitable organizations that make the lives of children and their families better.
We can achieve more by working together as pediatricians than we can individually. We welcome all physicians, residents, and practitioners that want to participate in education, personal growth and networking, camaraderie, and service. Please join us in this spirit and thank you to those who have already joined and remain active!
